    Nook HD Replacement

    I purchased this Nook HD to replace the one I bought when the Nook HD first became available. My first one died after several years of hard use. The Nook apps are limited and some of the apps in the Playstore are not compatible with the Nook HD but I am able to do most anything I wish to do with what is available. I do not use the Nook HD for gaming. This replacement works great for what I use an ereader for, read.....

    Think twice before buying this product

    I believe my nook got skipped over for testing. It turned on when it arrived and within minutes it signalled that the battery was low. I used a barnes and noble 30 pin nook charger but got no confirmation lightning bolt that it was charging in fact it was DISCHARGING the battery charge numbers were decreasing. I enjoyed the product very much for about 15 minutes. I was able to quickly set up an account with barnes and noble and download a free ebook. Wish the device lasted long enough to read the book..

    Best e-reader for the cost

    Honestly, I ordered this just looking for a cheap eBook reader, I didn't even realize it was a tablet until I got it! I was delighted to find out that it has an app section, everything from Google Chrome to Gmail to a Calendar and more. And you can get more apps through the Google Play store. The main concern I had is that it wouldn't be able to read more popular formats (Kindle ebooks, for example). But if you search on Google, it's very easy to find free software that converts all the other eBook formats into .epub files, meaning you can read every eBook you want on it regardless of format if you don't want to buy books from Barnes & Noble. I love my Nook!

    This is a perfect handy dandy ereader with built in office and screen light technology that eases your reading pleasure. The nook comes with built in apps such as facebook, twitter, google chrome, spotify and many more that the google play store offers for free Battery life is great- I charge it every 2 days give or take my usage. Thenook comes with the nook charger and usb adapter. The music and sound quality is incredible on soundcloud, youtube, spotify etc. I love the nook categories for purchasing books and all that you can do with every word and sentence through highlighting, noting, or looking up in their built in dictionary.
