    Brilliant sound for hi res DSD vinyl rips

    This unit can reveal even subtle differences in turntable setup like VTA, tonearm cable changes, cartridges, Tonearms etc. I’m mainly using it to test equipment, but the quality of vinyl rips it delivers is simply amazing. I’d be tempted to leave them in 5.6Mhz DSD as these sound fabulous. If you need to convert to other formats to play them back the Korg Audiogate software makes this easy. A major step up from using a USB musicians interface like a Focusrite.

    Recomended as high end audio sound card.

    Excellent Product as for what it is supossed to do. Sturdy. Clean practical design. Simple.Beautiful sound. Dissapointed it' can't be used as a stand alone Phono PreAmp, or that the only way to use the preamp, equalization curves are via Audiogate. Got word that it uses PCM to apply the curve to DSD inputs.... why? Excellent ADC/DAC for DSD and PCM.

    Best in class and beyond!

    Surprisingly good.It doesn't have the "latest fancy" tech specs but for what it does,beats most other DACs in the 1-3k USD price range.The incorporated RIAA could be considered a benchmark.The DAÇ/ADC and opamp chips are of a great sounding value.Good job,Korg and thank you for such a jewel!

    Best DAC

    I purchased this product to record vinyl. I discovered that it is by far the best DAC that I have found. I have 5 different dacs. I liked it so much that I quickly purchased a second one. I can’t listen without it.
