    USA made EHX quality!

    I like EHX products very much. They are unique, have quality and made right here in good ol USA! I bought the Crayon searching for a sound in my head. Although this is a fine pedal it didn't work with what I was going for and ended up with the EHX Glove. I was looking for a touch higher gain and a more marshally sound. This box has many different sounds from almost a fuzz to medium gain clip. It definitely is a tinker-er's pedal for people who need powerful tone shaping. The knobs are extremely sensitive to the slightest of adjustment. The fit and finish is excellent and they come with a pre-installed 9V battery. I think this would be a great pedal for single coil players because it's quiet and you can add the bass back into the signal with the bass knob. If I was going to use this ...

    Good overdrive pedal

    Good pedal for the money it is worth. I am using it often and I love the sound. I only don't like much that I have to use volume on almost zero if I need it the same loudness as my amp, I'd prefer to use it twelve o'clock and adjust. You can check the sound out on my album Max Tovstyi - Mesmerize especially good on the song Feel Like Dying Now guitar solo near the end.

    Great box of color for your solo sounds

    Really great companion pedal to the EHX Hot Tubes. They pair really well together as low gain and high gain and it's up to you which one you want first or second in your signal path. Either way they work great to pull your soloing out of the mix a bit or as a great slide tone.

    The Crayon. Adds color to your ears!

    What a pedal. It sounds great when turned on with an amp that has a clean or little distortion setting. Ideal for an attention-catching boost for that lead and rhythm part. It's not an overpowering distortion, but a great sounding overdrive with clarity in your power chords or single notes. The bass and treble knobs are convenient to shape and match to the setting on your amp. The gain knob sounds superb whether on a low or high setting. Just an awesome looking and sounding pedal.
