    Good fun, while leaving you happy to be alive.

    Holiday Inn is one of those must see holiday movies. It's about boy meets girl, boy looses girl, finds another girl, best friend finds his girl, steals his girl, goes after girl, and gets her back. With that said, the movie is funny, filled with real life emotions while dating. Bing Crosby voice and acting are superb, Fred Astaire dances up a storm, even while drunk. The two female roles also add greatly to the story depicting, ambition over love and love over pride.

    You can see more of the movie...

    You can see more of the movie, "Holiday Inn,"when you watch the colorized version! Little visual details which are not usually noticed in the original black and white version will suddenly stand out in the colorized version! That only adds to an already fun and entertaining film, which, by the way, introduced Irving Berlin's "White Christmas," to the world for the first time. And that's only one of the great songs in the soundtrack! I highly recommended this DVD/CD set.

    A great movie for the holiday season.

    Holiday Inn (1942) has got to be one of the best films you could ever see for the holiday season. The colorized version is wonderful, after you see it you wonder why the film wasn't made in color to begin with. Highly recommended, the kind of movie you will want to see every Christmas season.

    IFFFF you want a REAL CLASSIC movie then it's the color version of "Holiday Inn"!!!

    With the exception of "Singin' In The Rain" there is just no greater comedy-dancing-musical than this color version of "Holiday Inn"!! Bing Crosby singing in his absolute prime and Fred Astair dancing and singing in his prime can't be beaten! And this arrived very quickly at my humble doorstep in perfect condition with both both the beautiful color version as well as the original black and white version PLUS boasting a bonus soundtrack-CD!!! An altogether terrific deal!!! Am mucho happy!!! AAAAA+++++
