        Stiffer leather tighter cut

        I usually buy Berghaus Hillwalkers GTX which I have found to be brilliant as I wear them all day as a gardener ,but I thought I would give Supalites a try . I do have as most people one foot different than the other due to an injury to the joint in big toe and I have found the supalites to be a bit tighter in cut and stiffer on my injured foot around my big toe possibly due to them being a different leather than the Hillwalkers, my other foot is absolutely fine and feels good. I am working on stretching and softening the leather which if I succeed will ease the pressure on the toe area. I do not have this issue with the Hillwalkers which may be a wider cut and are softer and I can wear out of the box.

        Lighter in weight = less tired and happier!

        These boots are not only light in weight but durable. I have worn them daily in my job as a gardener and they have lasted as well and maybe better than normal Brasher boots which I have found to outlive other lesser makes. I destroy a pair of walking boots in less than six months from continuous wear in all weathers but so far these boots have stood up to the test and might well go on longer than the normal six months. From now on I will always wear these boots which although don't look as macho as other boots, are more comfortable, and just as durable.
