    My second favorite Resident Evil of all time! Survival Horror makes Resident Evil feel great!

    I enjoyed this game from start to finish. Evil set at a Residence, dark, gritty, disturbing atmosphere., backtracking, most fearsome enemies I've seen in a video game for a while. Exploration and backtracking (till the final act of the game). Item management, puzzles( quite easy to understand and not much puzzles was kinda disappointing) but glad it's in. Items you must examine to find another item within it. Files must be read to understand the story as well as VHS tapes which I'd love to see in further Resident Evil games. This game pretty much felt like old Resident Evil which is a lot better than the latest games except for the Revelations series. Tension and actual fear is what brought a smile to my face and enjoyment when playing this game I bought this game

    Too short , does not match up to games before it.

    Game is way too short , glad I waited to buy at lower price. It only took 10 hrs. to beat. Resident Evil was an awesome game before this , Resident Evil 7 does not meet up to previous games before it.

    Evil Revitalized

    The complete edition of a fantastic return to form after the disappointing 6th entry. With a focus on survival and exploring cramped areas with dangerous enemies, the fear is even stronger in first person mode. Interesting environments and puzzle elements bring back the feel of the original games. The Baker family make for an entertaining set of antagonists that you battle throughout the game, with Jack stealing the show. The lack of enemy variety and a proper mercenaries mode are a bit of a downer, however the gold edition adds all of the dlc with the highlights being the 2 story additions. Though not perfect it is one of the high points in the franchise and well worth checking.
