    Great for lockdown

Was not sure at first, it seemed a bit light weight. I like depth and beautifully formed sentences. However Jeanette Winterson was quoted on the back cover so I read on. Result I was captivated and cried laughed , even looked up the author. Interesting fella. If you have kids, a relationship, insecurities, a sense of humour , interest in other human sect there will be something in this for you. I loved it.

  • A good read, enjoyable and memorable.

Read this for our book club. It's not something I would have chosen and early on I thought I wasn't going to enjoy it, but I was wrong. The story is definitely different but I was drawn into the characters and was able to believe in them, especially the main character Andrew. The book was funny in many ways but also thought-provoking and poignant. I would recommend it as a very enjoyable, and memorable, read.
