The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring
J.R.R Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings is one of literature's modern classics. This series of books beginning with "The Hobbit" have become the standard for fantasy and classic myth adventure books. The excellent movie depictions of this book series (directed by Peter Jackson) have helped to spring-board Tolkien's literature back into household conversation.
