    Great at prerecording

    This Panasonic VCR is extremely easy to use, and has a great picture and sound. It works with the Panasonic universal remote I already had. The thing I like best is how easy it is to set up and save a week of recording in advance. You can see 8 slots of shows you want it to record. You can have them continue recording every week until you want to change them, which is very easy too. There are several other ways you can also set up to record. This is the main reason I wanted a Panasonic because some other brands have set ups that make it very difficult to manage your preset recording menu.

    This was a replacement

    This replaces another one I had to send back. The refund on the first one was fast & this one works great. My cable remote was able to find this unit & work the functions great. I am very happy with this VCR.

    Hard to find a player for my vhs tapes which are 25-30 years old.

    My vhs tapes are old. I assume the quality of many of the tapes that I see on the screen reflects their age, not the player. Some are better than others. Therefore, my conclusion is that it's the tapes, not the player.

    This VHS Player was in like-new condition, and included the manual. I have a program that will let me convert my old VHS family tapes into MP4 format. I can't wait to bring these tapes back to life in a format that I can send to my 5 children.
