    The perfect title because that is what this book is all about. Masterful.

    The title says it all. If you like history then this is a must read. This is the story of the War in the Pacific told by the other side. This is a war not found in Japanese school books. This is a war that is not talked about. The authors have found a very few people willing to tell how the war affected their personal lives. It is living history at it's best. Do yourself a favor and read this book, it might just change your view of war and the personal consequences it brings to everyday people.
