    An interesting variation on the original tale

    A mixed bag, I understand, it was made for children who generally don't question a story line or the actions of characters. I did expect an update of the animation, it is very similar to the remake of the original. There was more action, more drama... I did watch it to the end and may watch it again, the mice were more annoying than ever but Anastasia has a bigger role ;-) The step sisters were great but, as I said, slapstick geared to younger children. There is a segment of Cinderella tapped in a pumpkin heading for a cliff that was a bit of Nightmare before Christmas... creepier than you might expect for Cinderella, I imagine most parents watch a video before showing it to young ones Sad that Disney has been reduced to social justice and remake after remake after remake but, no ...

    I am so happy to have this film back in my possession and with the light up pin this time. The film also has a great life lesson on how love is more powerful than magic, as well as how consequential it can be to pretend to be someone you’re not.

    I'm 63 years old and I have collected over the years all of the movies for my grandkids and I truly love them and since they had put some on DVD I have started collecting DVDs and the Blu-rays I still enjoy watching them even now that my grandbabies are in high school thank you very much Ellie P White
