One of the best Jodie Foster films
This film is one of my all time favorites. It's amazing the performance Jodie Foster delivers when she was only a 12 year old child during production. She is fiercely independent, living alone and trying to keep it a secret. Martin Sheen is brilliant and creepy playing the role of the neighborhood child molester. And sure enough, the person who leased the home Jodie Foster is living in happens to be the mother of the child molester.
