Sadly, the shoes had to be returned because they seem to run a little slim. I usually take a 9.5 M (US size) but that was too tight so I will reorder in a wide with which should fit the bill. The item description said they were new in the box however I believe they were a return because there was extra shoe stuffing paper in the box and the tissue paper was all wrinkled as if they were repackaged. That is the reason for the 4 stars
