    A Nostalgic Trip Down Memory Lane

    "Bewitched" is not Shakespeare, but I am thoroughly enjoying it as a sentimental trip back in time. As a child of the '60s, I loved the simple plot lines, special effects, and appealing lead character. As an adult I watch it through a different lens, and the male chauvinism is atrocious. But if you can see if for what it is, a product of its time, warts and all (did you see my reference to witches?), you can enjoy it as frivolous entertainment. Elizabeth Montgomery is a refreshing delight and her "suburban housewife who happens to be a witch" will stand up for herself when Darren and his boss, Larry, act like imbeciles.
