Additional InformationIn the middle of the 1970's, Slade were possibly the biggest rock band in Britain and so it was no surprise that they looked to branch out and make a feature film. What was a surprise was that they chose to make a bleak, unglamorous look at the life of a fictional working band at the prey of an unscrupulous industry. Despite the film's undoubted quality it was poorly received by their confused fanbase and marked the beginning of their commercial decline.
