    Don't buy Hayward

    Received our Hayward pool pump. After hooking up it made a noise for the first day. Hope this isn't a sign of what is to come. I have never seen a pool pump without a on/ off button. Dumbest thing I have ever seen. I wish we would have bought another brand.

    Excellent pump at a very good price.

    Very strong pump, truly self priming. We have been running this pump non-stop for about a month now. It primed quickly, runs smoothly and quietly at very good pressure moving a lot of water through our sand filter and saltwater chlorinator. The only complaint I have is the power cord is about 2 feet shorter than the Hayward pump it replaced. As a result I had to relocate the outlet and switch much closer to the pump.
