    Mary Poppins

    P.L. Travers may not have liked this version. And considering this film wasn't too much like her book, that's understandable. However, some people did like it. I can understand their reaction as well as hers. The music numbers were iconic. The magic in this film is heartwarming. And the children aren't the only ones who learn something in this whole endeavor. Plus, Julie Andrews was aces in the title role. That is worth something right there.
