    Interesting thriller

    There were 5 sub-stories that were told by the various people at the country house. Each had an eerie supernatural element, so even though they were told by different people who had different stories, they were linked by the strangeness of what happened and a common narrator. The sound quality was poor, but that was probably because it was an older film and they couldn't transfer the sound well, but that has nothing to do with the quality of the film itself. It's a good, scary English thriller with a unique, creative twist. Recommend it to all thriller/horror fans.

    Lovely old-fashioned film, but sound quality is not up to the good visuals

    Memorable and enjoyable film, despite the ridiculously inappropriate cover. However the sound quality on this transfer was poor -- at moments even unintelligible. No doubt that's got something to do with the bargain price. Just be forewarned.

    A startling series of strange tales woven together brilliantly.

    This is a quality reprint of one of my favorite films of all time. The cover design, however, has nothing whatever to do with the film itself. The film is a series of stories told by various individuals as they find themselves drawn to an old house. One involves a mirror which, when looked at, reflects a different room. The final tale of a ventriloquist who is murdered by his dummy is shockingly carried out. A great film.
