    Not as described, definitely not new ,deceptive marketing, scratches dings & broken parts, didn't use shipping box at all just used paper and bubble wrap, absolutely careless ,all corners were smashed on the original box. 0 communication, no wonder his score is low, to bad I didn't check before I bought it.     Pricey but worth it - there are great deals out there on Ebay.

    I knew I wanted an aftermarket mike for my IC-7100 and this fits the bill. I got lots of recommendations, but due to ICOM's unique microphone circuitry, anything but an ICOM mike will need an adapter cable. Truth be told, this does too: 8-pin to modular plug, but I didn't worry about it. True, this is a pricey mike, but I got a great deal on it (bought directly from Japan) and it took a while to get to me. Works great with my IC-7100 and I get great signal reports.

    Great pairing fir my icom VHF 2730a

    This preamp mike is very sensitive and needs very little adjustment. Bold natural sounding unaffected voice quality. Can be pricey if you don’t shop around.

    Delivers the "punch" to get through!

    This is one of the best for the money additions to your "shack". The modulation is far superior to the original microphone as shipped. It just needs to be adjusted for your radio once and enjoy!

    The SM-50 is a KEEPER.

    I've used some of the best ICOM desk mics, and that includes the SM-20 and the SM-30. The SM-50 is the best in my opinion. Great audio and nice size. Just what I needed.
