An offshoot of Square's popular role-playing series, The Final Fantasy Legend has you leading a party of four adventurers on a quest to cleanse a mysterious tower filled with evil creatures. Yet before you can access the tower's floors, you'll need to explore its four surrounding worlds: land, ocean, space, and future city. Form your party from a choice of eight characters, ranging from humans to monsters to mutants. Engage in turn-based battles against more than 170 monster types and earn both experience points to level up your characters and equipment to enhance their abilities. Unlike most role-playing games, however, your weapons will degrade over time. The game was originally released in Japan as "Makai Toushi SaGa," designed as a separate franchise from the publisher's Final Fantasy series.

    Legend and best game boy game

    A+ game not short play like other games on Gameboy and it's really fun start out with characters and it's not as hard and all final fantasy games are great games fight command and decide what attack you want to use in terms of magic and weapons
