    I could not put it down in the 90's and its doing it to me again!

    I read this book when it first came out many years ago. Liked it so much that I read almost all of Tom Clancy's novels and watched all of the movies made from the books. Was always hoping a Without Remorse movie would be made about John Kelly/John Clark but it did not happen for almost 30 years. And finally it did in 2021, but it does not follow the original book story line. I enjoyed it but it made me want to go back and reread the original and I am loving every page again! I may go back and reread Patriot Games, Clear and Present Danger, Hunt for Red October, Sum of All Fears, Cardinal of the Kremlin, etc., etc., etc.

    pages 13/16 describe large, un-supercharged Detroit Diesels in the Pacemaker Coho 41.... to begin with, darn near every Pacemaker Coho 41 was powered by 454ci. gasoline engines, which require a completely different fuel & delivery system. all manufactured Detroit Diesel engines small & large enough to fit a Pacemaker Coho were 2 stroke engines which require a supercharger to function. that error with still 735 pages left to read took courage on my part. really no excuse for a sportsman like Mr. Clancy to make an error of this type.     Own it, Read it multiple times, this was a gift.

    In my opinion, Clancy’s finest work. It’s so good that after 3 or 4 other Clancy novels I stopped reading him because he couldn’t match it. Action packed, violent, touching and yet not without humor. Clancy writes with his foot on the pedal in this one.
