It was sent in a box with a little bit of styrofoam, that caused the sword to bang around and get damaged. Also, it was sent in a cheap polyester bag that was too small for the square guard, which caused the bag to rip, which caused damage to the guard. In the sellers own words: "I can only provide a cheap bag like you see on amazon. I didn't included customers a quality bag. That's too much cost to me."
