        The item was shipped promptly. However, the unit does not function properly and cannot be used as intended. Specifically, the input is very low in volume and "distant" sounding, despite adjusting all settings. There is also a noticeable, digital-sounding degradation of the input signal. I have experience with similar devices from Tascam and I can tell that this unit is faulty.
