    First Film of Stephen King's First Novel

    I wanted this one for the cover picture of Carrie, who is drenched in blood with rampaging flames in the background. A common criticism of this film is, Why did she kill everyone? The film shows us the tail end of Carrie's senior year at Bates High. She has been mistreated in this way through elementary, junior high and high school by her peers, presumably. The school principal calls her by the wrong name four times in his office, even. Maybe they deserved it.

    This a great movie!

    Carrie is a sad but very moving title about a lonely girl with telekinetic powers and unleashes her rage at the prom when she is pranked. It's definitely worth a shot at viewing! It's definitely scary late at night.
