    Excellent Movie

    Advise and Consent has an excellent cast and storyline. It is very engaging and a realistic vew of how the US Senate operates inside its chamber. Dispite this being a fictional movie, it reflects how our legislative body continues to makes decisions.

    A complex subject

    A great surprise at the end. A very good look into the workings of Congress. I had to ask a few questions. about what was happening. It is a little bit dated,. I don't know that certain things on this movie would apply to Congress now.

    A classic film with an interesting completion my Otto Premingee.

    The Hayes Code was still in effect in Hollywood when this film was made, but Preminger was powerful enough to ignore most of it and still get the movie released. Read more about that by looking the film up on the Internet Movie Database.
