- a***q (344)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseHandles fitted to the 2 broken forks. To shape the ends to fit I used a workmate, saw a rasp a hammer and 80Grit sanding paper. I measured the length of the original handle inserts and the diameter top and bottom. I then marked the length onto the new handles running a line all the way round, then using the saw I cut around the handle this was my datum. Then with the rasp I shaped the taper checking the fit every few minutes. It was fit a tight fit and I used a hammer to tap home. See Photo's

Used the two rivets supplied which were fixed in place by using a ball pein hammer - no heating needed. Three supplied rivets would be ideal but a happy customer.

I had to open out the rivet holes in the spade to take the rivets, and shorten the rivets. But all that is just p art of the job. Everything was very good in the end. The courier finally delivered this the next day, gave wrong information as to expected delivery time, instead delivered it earlier than explained, amended their delivery time after it was delivered, left item on doorstep. They lost (delivered to the incorrect address) the first handle and the seller had to send another one. Once it arrived, I can confirm that it is a great product that represents good value for money. It is particularly good that it comes with the required rivets. Despite the frustrations with Evri, I would use this seller again based on the product alone. Thank you for addressing Evri's shortcomings.
