About this product

Product Information

The author continues his excellent surveys of railways in South Wales turning his attention this time to the Barry Railway's route from Barry to Bridgend, which runs via Rhoose, Aberthaw and Llantwit Major and remains open as a freight only line in the 1990s. Although the passenger service ceased in 1964, the line was recently re-opened to passenger trains. Rhoose is the site of Cardiff's airport and it is now possible to travel between Cardiff Central station and the airport by train instead of by the dedicated bus service. Presented in A5 format, this work contains 176 pages, with 164 illustrations with a Linson cover.
