    Downton Abbey, the movie

    The movie is good but not great. I did see it originally in the theater when it came out. It is beautifully filmed, but it lacked excitement. Episodes during the run of the series had more intrigue than the movie. But for fans of the movie and longing for more the movie is like a nice long visit.
