One of a kind! Fit for Purpose
Fit for purpose! I have always had issues with my kids leaving on their closet lights but other timers I used required minimum 40Watts and only worked on CFL. I had changed their rooms to 12.5W 6500k LEDs so this is designed perfectly for the low power applications as well. I am electrically experienced and very happy the manufacturer took the effort to clearly label each wire and provide the connectors. This has no neutral so was simple 3-wires to connect. The trick with this is to leave for a couple minutes after energizing for the cycle to run through then depress your setting for 5 seconds and presto all saved. Now every time the switch is turned on I don’t have to worry about electric bill increased costs as it will automatically shut off!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Wiring issues
I am not sure but i think wiring it in reverse is what made it work. It did not want to work even after a minute (per manual) until i changed wires around. Hot wire on the switch ended up going to the fan and cold wire on the switch ended going to the hot wire in the wall. Weird. Oh well, at least it did nit fry connected in reverse. Another thing i found that was not well thought of is that main button is too hard to press. Half the time i have to press it so hard i dont understand why its so hard to press it. Also, main button is hard to find by touch. I wish it was illuminated.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Timer switch - No neutral wire required

Totally dead
