    Good strings

    The manufacturer says these strings will show you the true voice of your guitar, and I tend to believe them. I bought these to try on a new guitar I just bought but my schedule has not allowed time to put these on. Based on prior use on another guitar I own, these string can make your guitar sound completely different, and I can't wait to try them again. My dislikes: they feel somewhat stiffer than a standard medium set so I wouldn't restring just before a gig (like I did) but definitely when I have down time. Also, I didn't feel they kept their brightness very long, but a little longer than the EJ17 set.

    D string broke when stringing guitar

    Sound great.Problem is the D string(not g but D) broke about one third of the way down when i was putting the set on.Never had that happen before.I have five nickel bronze and one phospher bronze string on the guitar.

    Nickel bronze strings

    These strings have great, and I mean great tone. I’ve used bronze and phosphor bronze for the past 45 years -on my high end Martin guitars. These are now my favorite.

    Softest woody sounding string out there

    Dadderio nickel bronze are the best string for me on my one and only guitar. An Martin hd 35. The tuning stability is the best of any other string. But more importantly the tone is bassy and the mids are a softer woodier tone than phospher or 80/20 bronze. I believe the new bright sound wears off within just a couple days of playing then the woody deep sound last for a couple months by then a string will break so i change them. But i play 15 hours a week hard driving bluegrass. THEY ALSO HAVE A SOFT FEEL!!!!!!!!!
