    It's a beast!

    Easy to install using the old flange already on the sink. Forgot to knock out the plug for the dishwasher. It is louder/noisier than the 3/4hp disposer I replaced. It is a beast for grinding up vegetable kitchen scraps. CR's top rated unit.

    Powerful. maybe overkill.

    Powerful, but might be overkill. Because of the way disposals work (using spinning motion to throw debris up against a chamber wall that works like a cheese grater to shred waste) extra power is largely wasted. The unit itself is therefore larger than it needs to be. But, no matter. The product itself is of good quality and I got what I bought.
