    GOTTA MOVE WITH THE TIMES

    I bought this stick specifically to store my music. Being in my 70's, over 25 years ago I transferred all my music tapes onto recordable CD's, then found CD's deteriorated so re-purchased them as shop bought CDs. However, laptops have changed and no longer come with a DVD/CD tray. I bought a radio/CD player, a cheap one and found out the quality of music that came out of it was yuk. So I have just spent 3 days converting all my CD's into MP3s to store on this stick. Which it has done very well and very quickly. I really hope they do not change the format yet again because I cannot go through that rigmarole again! I now have a dedicated memory stick with all my music and with about 60 GB to spare. I am pleased. I chose SanDisk as it is the only brand I trust. I have bought cheaper ...

    Disappointing

    It makes a flimsy impression (aluminum) and the transfer speed never went about 35MB/s (the average was probably around 10MB/s) despite using it on a brand-new computer. I don't see the point of the plastic piece other than functioning as a key chain. It does connect very quickly and the 'vault' is a cool feature, though.

    SanDisk 256GB Ultra Flair USB 3.0 Flash Drive

    The device was incredibly user-friendly, requiring no formatting. I was able to save numerous files and still have an ample amount of space remaining. It's certainly on my list for future purchases.

    Fast quality flash drive

    I dont buy cheap brands of flash drives as they fail. Had this drive now for a few months and its been used a bit. Have many other Sandisk products and never failed. I get transfer speeds of 110MBs

    Very neat.

    Nice product and slots-in well on your PC with other neighboring flash units of the same type but expensive at the moment. Speed - don't know? Seems good but difficult to gauge without doing a test. They say a 'so and so' film can be transferred in 'so and so' minutes but as you know that depends on the bit-rate of the video encoding as this will determine the size.
