Shadow of the Colossus for the PlayStation was a unique game when it was created because it eschewed many of the elements typical of video games. It also contained elements of many different genres. A large part of the game simply involves spanning the vast expanses of wilderness the game has to offer. Your horse is an essential part of this due to the fact that he makes it possible to scale great distances quickly. In addition, Agro is also essential to combat some of the Colossi. If you do not learn how to master Agro, it makes completing the game much more difficult.In addition to the striking geography, Shadow of the Colossus features an innovative combat system. To defeat many of the enemies, you will have to climb them and resist their attempts to throw you down. Only by climbing them can you reach their weak spot. Some enemies can only be survived with the aid of your horse while others must be defeated at a distance. Since every Colossus must be handled differently, innovation and creative thinking are necessary to win.Shadow of the Colossus was a Sony exclusive and is available for the PS2. The game is also available for digital download on the PlayStation 3. Due to its massive success and popularity, the game was released as Shadow of the Colossus: Greatest Hits.     Awsome game.

    I was checking it out this game and decided to buy it. When it came in i could'nt wait to try it. At first its a little hard but once i got the button figure it out it was easy. The game wont save progress untill you kill the first colossus, but its fun trying though lol. Glad i pick this up for my ps2. And for the price i got it for well worth it. Thank you.

    The game works and has the cover art, which is good. However, it is missing the manual, and the case has NBA & Blockbuster stickers on it and smells weird. I have swapped out the case for a different case, and intend on purchasing a manual for the game to make it more complete in the future.

    Unique Puzzle Game with an Awesome Story

    Shadow of the Colossus is an extraordinary video game in both concept and execution. The story, though somewhat abstract for most of the game (a good thing, in my opinion), is simple and marvelous, while the graphics for the environment and colossi are breath-taking, especially once you consider that it was released in 2005. The music is also amazing; it perfectly fits the game's environment, and it strongly accentuates the many feelings and thoughts you will have while playing. I have never played a video game quite like SotC, but that only makes it an even greater experience! (It is a little bit short, however, if you're a quick learner, but don't let that deter you; it's still brilliant in every way!)

    The graphics in this game are way ahead of the time it was made. The mountains, valleys, and lakes look so real. The battles are not easy, but make you feel great when you win them! I would recommend this game to any RPG player.

    This game changed all the clitches of what games needed to do to become successful, this games crushes them . easely the best graphics on the playstation 2. and above all this the most shocking and beautiful scenery in a video game even to this date.(exept for The Last of Us).the story is sad and you feel guilty for what your doing , I mean killing miyhical creatures that don't even attack you, some of them even try to run away, ..... buy this game and after you play it you'll understand why this game is so unique , it aint like nothing out there. you wont regret getting it
