    Used Hard Drive

    Have to admit I was wary of purchasing a used hard drive, but because the specification matched exactly what i trying to replace it was worth a try. Glad I did in this case as it fitted exactly into place as a back up to my CCTV system and it self installed and formatted immediately. Had the system back up and running in under 20 minutes.

    Crashed after only 10 months use

    I bought this hard drive 10 months ago as additional storage, the product at first seemed perfect, and I was using it as a data dump for my movies and tv shows, sadly a few days ago, it has crashed. Typically such drives can last anywhere from 5 to 10 years. The machine I used has the same model of drive, has ran for 9 years with no issues, it could be that I was just unlucky.

    Seagate Barracuda Hard Drive

    Seagate Hard Drive, Good product, Good price and very good service. I've used it in conjunction with a security camera system, very simple to install, just plug in, format and go. I'm very pleased, however it's not as quiet as I had anticipated, but I can live with that.
