    Great Deal .. great strings

    If you have more than a few guitars .. bulk buying is the only way to go. Its great to have a few sets of strings on hand. D'Addario is my go to string and this is way to buy. 10 sets at a time.

    Consistent Strings

    Roughly every two weeks, strings are changed for me. EJ17s seem to be consistent from set to set. I heard through the grapevine that some companies purchase their metal with whatever is cheapest on the market. Seems like this company may shoot for the better quality! Swag

    D'Addario EJ17's

    I've been using D'Addario EJ17's on my acoustic guitars for 25 years, so I guess I'm bound to be biased as a reviewer! However, the reason I've used them so long is that I simply haven't found a better sounding or more durable string as an alternative. I always look for deals, as I buy in bulk, knowing that the strings will last inside their packaging for up to 3 years (and counting…) without tarnish. Great product.

    Acid fingers

    I change strings on a regular basis being a professional player...I've tried coated strings which retain some brilliance longer...but, they'er not as bright starting out because of the coating. My sweat must contain sulfuric acid because after 8-10 hrs of play time, my strings reach critical mass stage and sound like I'm using twine for strings. D'Addario's hold up better than any I've found in a non-coated string. I give them a great rating based on brilliance, longevity, cost and play-ability...can't get better than that.
