    Super capable

    Incredible device with amazing power, charges a 2amp battery so quickly it's almost questionable! Handles all tasks and its a perfect size and form. Absolutely love it, I normally use Milwaukee tools but this has me convinced in its ability.

    Robust but not precision engineering.

    It's well made and everything, as you'd expect, but it's not exactly precision engineering. The battery is a bit loose and the spin is not centred. At this price point you're paying for reliability, which I can't comment on as I haven't had it for long.

    The drill is first class as I would expect from dewalt weight-less and very whippy,, high torque and smooth action

    Dewalt DCD796 this type of drill is what its about , smooth running high torque action drills the sizes its meant to. We use this drill daily building high spec stainless steel control panels for customers who expect the best. Has a company we are building portable tools with the Dewalt name as we believe they are the best quality

    DeWalt DCD796 Combi Drill

    Being a Joiner with Years of experience and stuck to the DeWalt Brand for the past 5 Years, I have to say this has impressed me. Great Quality, nice Compact Fit to the Hand, weight is nicely distributed. The addition of a 3 setting LED Light is great and the all Metal Chuck is Perfect. Overall great Product.

    Why did I wait so long to get a DeWALT. Drill is amazing and works better than my corded Bosch. I have been drilling holes through Large rafters and it just sails through them and after 3 hours there was still a full charge. I did get the 5 amp batteries and well worth it. As other people have noted it is also light and smaller than the Braun so able to get to places not available to other drills. DeWALT do tend to be on the pricier side of Life which is why we defer to other good makes, just not as good as DeWALT. The brushless motor is also a dream to use. Every one should have one of these on their bucket list. Amazing for a battery operated tool. A1***
