    North Sea Trawler

    Overall the kit is very good. The only negative is the moulds are starting to show their age. With more flash on the parts than normal. It is still a useful kit for the railway modeller and could be easily converted to a waterline model and with a little bit of ingenuity could portray a different type of vessel

    Trawler

    This is a good starting point for a North Sea Trawler but it is quite an old casting and lacks the detail needed to do a model proud but it is excellent value for your money i have bought 2 of them and will do some heavy mods to the second model to reflect an earlier 30s trawler.

    easy to build

    this is an old kit and revell seem to be using the original moulds to produce it today. Having said that , once the parts have had the excess flash removed it does build into a nice model.

    Uncommon subject. Nicely rendered

    Although a bit old in the tooth this still is a good kit, and one well worth buying. It´s up to anyone what amount of modifications to apply. The kit provides a enough space and a good base to spruce up with aftermarket PE etc. but can be built into a nice-looking model out of the box.
