    A respectable effort

    I hadn't even heard of this film, until I saw it featured on a video on youtube about Rutger Hauer's best films. I found it on ebay for a pretty reasonable price and so decided to have a look. What I will say about it is that I don't think it's one of Rutger's best. The movie is outrageous in its content and very colourful to say the least, as you'd expect from a movie like this, especially considering it stars the late, great and legendary Rutger Hauer, but as it moves into the last part of the movie, I felt it wasn't satisfying enough and his character was weakened. The movie was okay for a single viewing and I don't regret looking at at for a minute. I gave it a try, but I knew that after watching it, I did not want to look at it again.
