    Only used it once so far, so too early to say, but looking positive. What I can confirm is the "child" version fits me (adult), & it clearly states from age 3, so the only difference appears to be the 5 balloons rather than the 10 in the "adult" version. Go for the version which is £5 cheaper, as it's the same. I could not find the answer to this question prior, so I hope this helps others :-)

    Helpful glue ear product.

    Had never heard of this product until I went for an NHS hearing test. Was advised to try it out while waiting for an MRI scan. Much better than just holding your nose and blowing as it helps you to control how much pressure you are using.

    easy to use

    easy to use,but sadly hasnt worked for me at the moment,but will carry on and hope it works.i suspect that if this doesnt work then the far more expensive battery operated model offered by different companies wont work either for me.so i would try it if you have a problem with pressure in the ear.but i got a similar result just holding my nose and blowing

    This is the pack for adults

    Most Otovent packages are designed for use by children and the nose adapter is too small but this pack is designed for use by adults and therefore works well. It also contains 10 baloons rather than 5 as in the kits for use by children. Again better for adults

    Glue ear cured.

    Glue ear cured after three days use, very suprised that it happened so quickly after suffering with virtually no hearing in my left ear for many months, it was the hearing specialist at Boots that recommended that I try this when I went for my hearing check, I was all set for going down the route of having a grommet fitted, so pleased with this product and would recommend it to anyone with the same problem that I had, if only the doctors at the hospital had told me about this after many visits having my hearing checked over the years it would have saved me so much time and worry.

    Too early to say if it works

    I bought this for Eustachian tube dysfunction, known as glue ear. Apparently you know it’s working If your ear ‘pops’ or clicks. It seems to be working when I use it but it’s too early in my treatment to say if it will help cure the problem.
