    Great Idea

    There were two "Ratcheting Tie down Straps" in the package. The pkg. was in excellent shape when I received it. Unfortunately only 1 strap works perfectly. The second strap really gives me a great deal of problems, when I attempt to release the tension. I thought I was going to have to cut the strapping, one of the times that I used it. I only use the one that works at this point. The defective one seems as thou it's not aligned properly . . .

    Erickson retractable strap

    They work great when I need them. I use these straps 4 to 6 times a year & have not had any real issues. They may be hard to release at times, but nothing serious. I would recommend these to anyone that needs straps from time to time. Not sure how they would hold up, if they were used daily or even weekly. These straps are very easy to use - straight forward.

    good choice

    used the 2 inch ones and the kept binding and jamming when hauling my UTV, got these larger one with no probles so far in 15 uses. they do unwind easy if you pick up the wrong end when carrying them.

    Stay TIGHT and ORGANIZED!!

    I have used straps for various reasons over the years. I thought I had a good idea last time with the 2 inch 20 foot ratchet straps like you see on trucks. They work great except their storage becomes a tangles mess. Now that I have the Retractable Ratchet Strap, I have it all. I have the ease of use with a STRONG that stores away ORGANIZED with ease. No more tangled straps requiring my time before I use it. Push the red retracting button and the strap stores neatly within the ratchet reel. Love the way this product addresses all of the function needs of the user. I bought these straps to hold my Smart car on my RV tow semi. Push the red button and the straps return to the minimum space required and they are neatly put in storage until the next use. Buy with confidence!!

    Move over ratchet straps
