    postage is fine as ever costing £2.70 why charge that much for postages? Great with packaging from seller did better by placing it inside envelope wrapped and covered in sellotape before he did that he put extra stuff inside to protect envelope and item from damages.

    Magnificent

    When first broadcast in the 70's and 80's these 2 series were nominated and awarded a hatful of BAFTAs. Deservedly so.....the storylines follow almost exactly the twists and turns of le Carre's books and no expense seems to have been spared in locations, detail and cast. Needless to say Alec Guinness is masterful, but watch out for Beryl Reid as well, Can't praise this enough....if you enjoyed the 2011 film with Gary Oldman this will knock your socks off.

    The Definitive Cold War Classic

    Absolutely peerless in every aspect. A must for all fans of Le Carre and Intelligence/Espionage works, there really is nothing which reveals so much of that world. These people, places and policies really existed and were hidden from the majority for good reason. Watch and be entertained, educated and edified. I absolutely adore this look into our past.

    Entertainment for a wet winter day.

    Great story, the dvd adaption with Alec Guiness is superb beyond compare. Usually, the bioj is far superior to the film - but in this case the fulm is the equal of the book. Watched it on tv a coupl we of times, jumped at the chance to own the dvd set. I foresee many a wet winter day being spent with this film and an endkess oot of tea...
