    Riveting! One of the best historic docudrama miniseries ever produced!

    Absolutely captivating miniseries! Taken from the actual events that took place during the competitive efforts by the Brit - Robert Scott and Norwegian - Roald Amundsen to be the first to reach the south pole. Events that would prove to be tragic for Scott and his party. Though Amundsen and his party were the first to reach the pole, their effort was pushed into obscurity by the British efforts to paint Scott as a hero.
