Additional Information
Set in Cork, Ireland in 1920, Damien abandons a career as a doctor after seeing a friend of his murdered by a British soldier and joins his brother Teddy in an Irish Republican Army unit in order to defeat the occupying British force. After a violent struggle, the two sides agree a treaty to end the conflict. However, civil war erupts and families and friendships are stretched to the limit and Damien and Teddy find themselves on opposing sides as Damien views the treaty as a sell-out that fails to bring all of Ireland under Irish control. British director Ken Loach (KES, LAND AND FREEDOM) became the 59th winner of the Palme d'Or at Cannes with this emotional drama about the Irish Civil War of the 1920s and the film features superb performances from a young Irish cast.

Hello, I have also purchased many times on eBay. Due to the long transportation distance, the packaging is often damaged. It is possible that you have not encountered any hesitation or damage caused by the outer box. For your family, packaging for each person is sufficient protection. I have modified the review, and the seller s service is very good, but I hope to provide better protective outer boxes. After all, not all countries have reliable transportation, and a single damage is a bad mood f

Thank you for your review! While we didn’t use an additional cardboard box, the item was securely wrapped in multiple layers of bubble wrap and reinforced with parcel tape — offering the same protective support as a box. As expected, it arrived in the exact condition as it was advertised in, just like every other order we’ve shipped. We also covered 75% of your international shipping cost as a gesture of goodwill. Our goal is always to deliver safely, fairly, and with care.

  • Ireland- a fight for freedom.

It’s a true depiction of Ireland in the 1920s, the struggles, the separation of family. It’s not an easy watch so I wouldn’t call it entertaining. Superb acting. There are no happy endings.
