    Not as described, definitely not new ,deceptive marketing, scratches dings & broken parts, didn't use shipping box at all just used paper and bubble wrap, absolutely careless ,all corners were smashed on the original box. 0 communication, no wonder his score is low, to bad I didn't check before I bought it.     Shimano Quality

    Shimano knows how to build quality reels of varying sizes function. I have a couple of Stella's and wanted to go with a bait caster which was salt water friendly since I fish in Chesapeake bay mostly. Paired up with a Gloomis NRX and I am happy for whatever swims my way.

    Shimano raises the bar with the Metanium MGL 2020.

    Everyone has preferences and this reel is almost perfect for me. It's very smooth and casts with ease. The build quality is top notch. It has a solid rugged feel to it but it's buttery smooth. You won't regret getting this reel as it's probably the best all around reel Shimano has made to date.

    Shimano Hi-End Reel, top quality!

    Very light, fantastic ergonomics, butter smooth cranking, excellent casting, nice drag, but has it’s price. For Shimano Hi-End reels fans, a must have for bass fishing.
