    It is the safe choice

    The remote works great and programmed on my first try. With that said, I also purchase several compatible remotes (3 different ones) which seem to have similar range and programmed easily, however, they were much cheaper. The true test will be to see how long they all function, as they are kept in my vehicle in the extreme heat of central Florida. All these reviews should have a 1 year follow-up to verify the items we review when purchased were still functional and that the rating has not changed.

    Go buy an original

    doesn't work like an original, when i went to program the second door on a different frequency, it lost the first door programming. the original lift master 893 max worked fine for the same thing. buy oem, be happy. what's the point of saving money of it doesn't work.

    Works well with old and new garage door motors

    Purchased this LiftMaster remote door opener to operate an older LiftMaster garage door motor. The instructions were clear and it immediately recognized my 1997 LiftMaster door motor after pressing the "Learn" button on the motor. I can now remotely open both my old and new garage doors. It has very good range and will operate the doors from the street.

    Easy to Program

    I replaced both batteries when I got them, so there wouldn’t be a problem. Then I had to figure out how to slide out the visor clip - use a flat head screw driver under the curved side and gently lift while pulling it out. Once I figured out I needed to program them at my remote box rather than the motor, I took about 30 seconds for each remote. One wouldn’t take the code on the large button, so I chose the last one. Then promptly put a dot of nail polish under the correct button on each remote. They are working great! PS - Found the one I thought fell out of my purse, so now I have a backup😊

    Brand Name remote works Great

    This brand name remote worked as promised. It was easy to program for multiple doors and controls them from a fair distance away. I bought the brand name after reading lots of issues with the cheaper no name remotes. Very happy with this purchase. Highly recommend.
