A book that has been read, but is in good condition. Minimal damage to the book cover eg. scuff marks, but no holes or tears. If this is a hard cover, the dust jacket may be missing. Binding has minimal wear. The majority of pages are undamaged with some creasing or tearing, and pencil underlining of text, but this is minimal. The package arrived wrapped in brown paper and secured with tape--for the cost of the shipping one would think better packaging would be included, e.g. boxed. Also, and this concerned me upon attempting to open the package, through all the packaging tape. On the back side of the package, trapped inside the tape, was a white substance, resembling caked on powdered sugar. I used scissors.
