Don't walk away from this thing - it will not stay up
This thing did not work on the beach at all. It advertises to set up against the wind, which I guess is supposed to keep it alift, but the poles move all over the place in any situation where the wind is not steady, or is coming from different angles. The un-poled side is way too low, so if you have a cross wind, you are setting this thing up you can't see the water and despite being 9x9, most of the space is not usuable because it was so low to the ground. I ended up just tossing this thing in the dumpster and went old school umbrella which had no issue in the higher winds we were dealing with. Next time, I am just using two umbrellas to get more shade.
