    Outstanding performance for the price

    Purchased as house gift for a friend, hard to find Cuban tear drop style flange rims In this price range. Allowing a more full articulate sound . Siam wood stave ( Indonesian Oak ) construction creates traditional authentic sound. The exterior Finish is exceptional , drum heads have warm & natural sound . Yes there are better Sounding bongos for the discriminating professional, although not in this price range.

    Best bongos for the buck.

    I really like these Toca bongos. Not just the price but they have an excellent sound. Great finger and thumb pops. They lack in volume a little, choke some on full hand slaps and tuners could be a little smoother but for $50-fantastic.
