About this product
Product Information
How to cope when the world overwhelms you. For those people who: have a keen imagination; are labelled too shy or too sensitive; who perform poorly when being observed even though they are usually competent; have vivid dreams; for whom time alone each day is essential; and find they are quickly overwhelmed by noise and confusion, crowded parties, hectic office life............. this is the book to help them understand themselves and how best to cope in various situations. Highly sensitive people are often very bright and creative but many suffer from low self esteem. They are not `neurotics' as they have been labelled for so long. However, high sensitivity can lead them to cease to engage with the outside world. The book offers solutions for a happy and fulfilling life. Particularly in the way an HSP perceives his or herself: the book helps to `reframe' past events, such as a difficult childhood, or how they see themselves - ie. shy. Particularly strong material for those raising a sensitive child

- i***l (11)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseThis is my second time buying from this seller and I would definitely place another order in the future. This time I ordered three books and everything went well. The books arrived in great condition, matching the description. As always they are very carefully wrapped. The prices are great and the communication is always very kind and clear.. responses very quickly. Highly recommend this seller.
- e***p (93)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseThis book arrived in good condition and as described and good was good value as were the other books I ordered. Unfortunately the packaging didn't survive Royal Mails handling and this was the only book I received of five I had ordered. I contacted WeBuyBooks and they have been brilliant in trying to resolve the issue of the missing books. They are replacing one that they still have in stock though unfortunately are unable to do so for the other three so are issuing a refund for these.
- s***s (77)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseOne of my go to sellers for second hand books. I purchased 3 in one go this time and they came packaged in a box, rather than a flimsy plastic sleeve that a lot of companies use, which really makes a difference. I was a little concerned when I realised this one was an ex-library book, but I don't think it's ever been read as the condition is like new, so it was exactly as described in the listing. Dispatch and delivery were super quick too. Great value. Very happy. 5*. Many thanks.
