Whole Lotta Shaking
Excellent movie but I found the central character too unpleasant - perhaps I would have warmed to him when I was younger. Terrific idea to use a Jerry Lee Lewis classic sound track to illustrate Gere's actions and character. But why on Earth - or was this some murky business deal. NOT to use one of Jerry Lee's original recording of any of his classics. ALL are re - recordings and not one near as great as the originals. Shame. This is a thoroughly enjoyable homage to a 60’s French new wave movie (with the action moved to California instead).
